Mindful Media Mastery
In an era where we see more information than ever before, navigating the digital world can feel like an endless race against an algorithm. From a quick Instagram check to falling tens reels deep into a scroll, our digital habits are shaping our lives in ways we are only beginning to understand.
We see more information than ever before
This massive information overload often leads to mental fatigue and stress, difficulty focusing on what truly matters and emotional manipulation, as negative content frequently triggers stronger emotional reactions (anxiety, anger, and frustration) than positive content.
That is why we are introducing our project Mindful Media Mastery, co-funded by the European Union.
Through our upcoming activities, we will focus on:
Digital Mindfulness: Learning to reclaim focus and recognize how content affects our mood.
Media Literacy: Gaining the skills to verify information in a world where fake news often spreads faster than facts.
Critical Thinking: Questioning claims before trusting them, especially when they are repeated until they "feel" true.
Over the year, we will be conducting research, developing a practical Mindful Media Toolkit, and hosting international workshops to build better digital habits.
