FARM NOT HARM: Preparatory Visit
March 12-15, 2026 📍Wielgolas, Poland
We just spent a few incredible days laying the groundwork for upcoming Erasmus+ youth exchange with Global Connect. This preparatory visit wasn't just about logistics, it was about immersing ourselves in the environment that will soon welcome young changemakers from across the Europe. This project is all about connecting with nature, sustainable living, and the power of community. Here is a little peek into our getaway at the farm!
The atmosphere at the farm is pure magic. The perfect indoor spaces for workshops and evening reflections - think rustic wicker lamps, warm string lights, and traditional decor that makes you want to sit down and talk for hours. It’s the ultimate cozy indoor aesthetic that will surely spark some deep conversations during the exchange.
We spent these days eating 100% fresh and organic products sourced right from the land. From colorful salads and spreads to homemade bread and herb-infused treats, our bodies felt as recharged as our minds. It was a masterclass in how delicious sustainable eating can be.
One of the absolute highlights was meeting the local residents - the animals! Spending time with the horses, dog, goats and other farm animals provided a 10/10 serotonin boost. There is something incredibly grounding about animal therapy that aligns perfectly with our mission of wellness and harmony with nature.
While the vibes were slow, our pens were moving fast! The best part of this visit was the collaborative spirit. We spent our mornings actively involved in planning the details for the Youth Exchange program this April. It was such a great feeling that they made sure every voice was heard, ensuring the program truly reflects the needs and passions of the youth involved. Between notebooks, coffee, and collaborative brainstorming sessions, we’ve designed a curriculum that is both educational and transformative.
To wrap up our days, we took long walks down the quiet country roads, chasing the golden hour and fully embracing the slow-living philosophy. Seeing the sun dip below the horizon over the fields reminded us exactly why protecting these environments is so vital.
